meaning of object orientation encompasses a wide body of literature and means a variety of things dependent on its context. While exploring its meaning, a student writing on this subject
should embrace the idea of modeling as something related to the creation of objects on the screen, and while much can be done with a few mouse clicks, the technology
is rather intricate. First, a look at just what object-orientation is, is applicable here. The key words object oriented are popular, and may mean a variety of things,
dependent upon how it is being utilized ("Object-oriented," 2002). Object-oriented programming (OOP) for example refers to a certain type of programming that combines functions with data structures in order
to create re-usable objects (2002). For instance, object-oriented graphics is the same thing as vector graphics (2002). The terminology object-oriented is usually used in the course of describing a system
that deals with a multitude of objects, where actions depend upon the type of object one is manipulating (2002). For instance, an object-oriented drawing program might allow one
to draw a variety of types of objects like circles, rectangles, or triangles (2002). Applying the same kind of action to each of the objects would of course create different
results, particularly if the activity Make 3D is implemented; in such a case, the result would be a sphere, box, or pyramid (2002). The same type of idea that is
