reform has been a national focus since President Baraq Obama first entered the national spotlight as a potential presidential candidate. Obama contends that the nations health care system is
not only inadequate but unacceptably costly. Together with his advisors and various satellite interest groups Obama has forged a healthcare reform package now referred to somewhat critically as Obamacare.
Americans are split over the relative merits of Obamacare verses its downside. Many support Obamacare but many oppose it. Each side has formed its own interest groups
and these have a tremendous impact on the efficiency of government function (or lack thereof) and the likely outcome of healthcare reform. The releationship that emerges can be referred
to as the iron triangle of healthcare reform. Admittedly, the problems we are experiencing in healthcare are many. The US is facing
potentially catastrophic economic times. Much of the problem relates to caring for our progressively aging population. While we must remember that it is this same population that is
to be credited with the many advancements and improvements that have been made in American society over the past half century or so, the harsh reality is that our demographics
