investigations as a means by which to inspect and rectify any code violations. Various elements of a given industrys Code of Practice provide investigators with the ability to report
a given company for infractions; if management does not fix the reported problem(s) in the given time period, fines and criminal sanctions can be applied.
When a work improvement notice is given, it is done so when a breach of code has been discovered. The very nature of an improvement notice is
to serve as a warning to rectify a certain situation that does not meet up to standards, such as a misplaced plank at a construction site or improperly heated food
at a restaurant; if the infraction is not addressed and rectified by the date on the improvement notice, a prohibition notice is submitted, for example, in order for work to
