is this one has to wonder? What is it that has driven so many to search for the answers in the pages of a book that is written on the
fringe of most philosophies? Such is the book called, Old Souls, by Tom Shroder. It could very well be that what drives people to the shelves is an answer, not
to the question of who am I, but, who was I? What is immediately curious is how noted scientists in many fields espouse the calling of the scientist which
is to eternally question, but when faced with evidence which challenges long held scientific principles curl into a figurative fetal position. The dilemma for scientists in this day and age
is very real. They must now simultaneously question as before, but at the same time proceed as if something at least is known. This is ticklish for most scientists since
the foundation that they start with is already unstable. This forces new parameters to be formed, new definitions to be created, and as such, many scientists are finding themselves unable
to let go of previously held concepts, regardless of the proof staring them in the face. This is the case with Tom Shroder as he pairs up with noted
researcher Dr. Ian Stevenson to investigate the validity of past lives, or reincarnation, as it appears in very young children. Their discoveries offer evidence that reincarnation can and does exist.
