to think, or even claim, that we never do anything wrong, knowingly, we know better. People inherently do things knowing full well they are wrong. Some people even go out
of their way to do things that are wrong, because it makes them feel powerful and good. In the following paper we examine this argument, the argument that states no
one does wrong knowingly, and counter argue that this is incredibly far from the truth. No One Does Wrong Knowingly?! Plato illustrates that Socrates believed that knowledge was
everything. He argued that knowledge was virtue, and in a sense, pure enlightenment. As such he also argued that when a person did wrong, they were without knowledge of some
kind, and thus did not knowingly do wrong. As one author states, Socrates believed that "As virtue is knowledge, no one does wrong knowingly - dangerous stuff - a personal
vision of spiritual perfection" (Jarvis socrates.html). This seems to be an accurate description of Socrates perspective, for in his presumed position of the subject of knowledge, he felt that when
one possessed knowledge they were, in essence, perfect. Such a reality is not possible by most standards. And, even if it were, the amount of knowledge that anyone has very
little to do with doing things that are wrong. Now, understandably, we can see where some people may lack the knowledge of particular laws, for example, and break those laws
without knowledge. But, if they had possessed the knowledge concerning the laws they would not have broken them. This is, in all honesty, a very truthful reality for we often
have found ourselves doing things we did not know were wrong. They may have been wrong based on some unwritten law, or wrong based on real law. However, just
