no longer subject to slave morality. Searching through Nietzsches works, you try to find a plausible argument, citing Nietzsche in order refute your friends position and show her the error
of her ways; however, based on Nietzsche, you have to concede that there is logic in her stance. First of all, in understanding Nietzsche is first necessary to
realize that he demands that the reader suspend many of the guiding assumptions that govern Western concepts of morality. In his text On the Genealogy of Morals (1887), Nietzsche differentiates
between an act and its meaning. It is a natural tendency to see things and actions as having inherent meaning. For instance, the typical person tends to see punishing a
child for disobedience and the reason behind the punishment as inseparable. However, Nietzsche argues that things and actions have different meanings within different contexts and within different times. For example,
consider stealing a loaf of bread. If this act occurs when ones belly is full and one is robbing from someone who is starving, then clearly the act has one
