Todays front page was immersed in political rhetoric. The quantity of information given in both of these formats is such that only the very minimum is dispersed so as not
to bore the viewer/reader. That people have little time and even less patience in todays ever-hectic society speaks to the realization that viewers/readers want their information fast and brief.
The drama and visuals of the news broadcast are infinitely more evoking of emotional response over and above the newspaper by virtue of the live camera shots availing moving images
rather than still photography. This is not to say, however, that still photography fails to evoke tremendous emotion response as well, only that it does so with lesser intensity
than its live counterpart. Photography provides an eye to the world that viewers/readers would otherwise never experience. Whether color, black and white, abstract or documentary, photos tell a
story without the need for words. Indeed, history has clearly illustrated how photographs are an integral component to translating emotions and circumstances that could otherwise not be expressed merely
by literary methods; rather, photography helps the world understand more about itself through images of social conflict, civil rights, war, famine and every other element of human existence. Biased coverage
is a key ingredient to absolutely every form of news delivery, inasmuch as the specific news source has the inherent right to skew perception as he or she sees fit,
a reality that lends itself to the notion of agenda setting in mass media. Words carry with them a great deal of power. They are capable of destroying
