isolated. It is not located near major shipping lines. There is just one major international airport in the country. These are the challenges but there are many reasons to
establish a global company in this country. This essay discusses the reasons for and against such a venture. Facts about New Zealand New Zealand is an island in the
South Pacific Ocean. It is under the official rule of the United Kingdom. New Zealand is comprised of two main islands and several other islands that are scattered from the
topical zones to the Antarctic, some like Stewart Island and Great Barrier Island are inhabited, others are not. The two main islands are North Island and South Island which are
separated by Cook Strait. The North Island has 44,281 square miles and the South Island has 58,093 square miles. Its total population is just about 4 million people (Kwintessential, 2008).
Of the population, over 74 percent are New Zealand European, 9.7 percent are Maori and the rest include other Europeans, Pacific Islanders, Asian and others (Kwintessential, 2008). There are three
official languages: English, Maori and New Zealand Sign Language with English being the language used in day-to-day business affairs (Kwintessential, 2008). There are differences between the European New Zealand culture
