get a job. Contracts in this case need to begin with the first objective, particularly given the complexity of getting clean. The clinician has agreed to discuss the aspects and
operations of two programs, showing her printed material about each program and discussing the advantages or disadvantages of each. It is up to Freydia to decide which program to enter.
By offering her a choice, Freydia feels she is in control. The contract requires Freydia to make a decision and enter the program within two days of the discussion in
the clinicians office. The clinician has agreed to accompany Freydia when she first enters. Freydias mother, who is caring for the two children, also needs to be involved and has
agreed to visit Freydia weekly when visitations are allowed. This contract would need to be renegotiated if Freydia fails to enter the program in the first place and/or if she
