services, and treatment and prevention options. Because there are many factors that impact the recovery process following an MI, researchers have pursued a greater understanding of the elements that
impact recovery, including medical, pharmacological and psychosocial processes. The implications of these different elements have clearly defined a number of trends within the nursing sector. In essence,
the pursuit of effective prevention, maintenance and restoration protocols for individuals who have experienced myocardial infarction are not only defined by the level of damage caused by the problem, but
also by the limitations of the medical institution and limited familiarity with medical data regarding the complexity of support processes and their implications for viable treatment. This study not
only considers the scope of the issue, but reflects on the different treatment and preventative measures that can enhance the livelihood of individuals who have experienced a single myocardial infarction
