wireless services and so there are few, if any, people who are virtually excluded from the myriad of communications choices. With systems such as ADT, people can reach police or
an ambulance with, literally a click of a button. With pushing buttons, or clicking mouses, people are connected in ways that were once thought impossible. The changes that have occurred
over the centuries--and even over the past few decades--are mind boggling. Yet, to run all of these innovations, programming languages and the learning of these is a necessity. In
the business world, what is actually necessary is the creation of programming languages that allow companies to easily make changes (Shafe, 1997). It is difficult of firms must wait
on busy programming companies. It is much easier to make changes in house. More generally, society has come a along way in developing communications techniques that have significantly altered the
way in which people live. Multimedia has changed the way in which people live and also the ways that they work. People can now in fact learn how to
program with the use of multimedia. McMaster (2001) explains that if managers want their salespeople to acquire new skills they should not send them to a traditional classroom environment.
