with a culture of peace, but this is a difficult task to achieve due to the way a culture of war is created and persists.
In order to create a culture of peace it needs to be defined. The difficulty with this is the subjective nature and the difficulty in determining how
it may be achieved. The starting point is to consider what is meant by the opposite; the culture of war. This is a particularly relevant issue for many African states
