The technological advancement credited to Chinas ever-growing industry, coupled with its tremendous consumer base, has made this one of the most promising prospects for the new products marketing focus. By considerable contrast, India holds the number two position for highest population at just under eleven hundred million; however, this is not by virtue of its strong industry or modern existence, but rather due to its Third World status, high mortality rate and the fact that birth control is not readily available.
