the principals role. They did not indicate if either the principals or the teachers had had any prior experience with Online education. It seems this would really be the place
to begin such studies. The questions are: 1) Do Online principals who have no experience as an Online teacher see their role differently than Online principals who have had experience
as an Online teacher? 2) Do Online teachers who have had no experience as an Online student see their role differently than Online teachers who have had experience as an
Online student? 3) How do Online teachers view the preferred role of their Online principals? Research Purpose There is little written about the role of the Online principal. No
studies could be found that compared Online principals with experience as an Online teacher or Online teachers with experience as an Online student. It would seem that these experiences would
provide significant insight for both Online teachers and Online principals. It is also important to understand how the relationship of the Online principal and Online teacher needs to be developed.
A logical deduction would seem to be that those professionals with experience would have a different perception of the role of the Online principal. The purpose of this study
is to provide more information regarding effective and successful Online education by answering the previous questions. There will be more and more education Online. There is a need for a
