concerning the relationship and they are conflict, independence, complementary, and integration. The following paper examines how and why integration works. Model of Integration: Science and Religion In understanding
something of this particular model one author notes, "the idea that the perfection and variety in nature gives us evidence of Gods power and handiwork. This viewpoint was dealt a
severe blow by Darwins theory that variety in nature actually arises from random mutation and natural selection" (Hayhoe, 2006). In the opinion of this particular writer/research a belief in Gods
power does not mean that Darwins theories of natural selection are not valid. If nature and the complexity of nature and life truly do give praise to Gods handiwork then
there is surely room for the process of evolution. In another citation, one author, a philosopher and theologian, that at an event a
scientist and he were having a discussion wherein the scientist was "contending that science had removed the need to believe in God" (Moreland, 2006). This is not necessarily the case
either for science has surely not proven there is no God. And, in all honesty, one can doubt the validity of presumptions and foundations for research in the world of
science. Many scientific ideas have been proven wrong and who is really to say what foundations are correct and what foundations simply lead to errors because of the error in
