of the surgical process which included platelet and blood transfusions in order to address the victims inability to coagulate and the very real potential of him bleeding to death. d.
The family advised the doctor the victim practiced a faith that did not permit him to accept any form of platelet or blood transfusion and therefore they would speak for
him and refuse both. e. The doctor went great lengths to explain to the family and church elders about the grave nature of their decision to support the victims wishes,
