of the ongoing technological revolution. Therefore, the issue of distance education, in which various types of telecommunications and satellites have significantly increased the conventional classroom space between teacher and
student, has grown increasingly in importance and inspired heated debate among educators and school administrators. While back in the 1980s the topic may have been limited to higher learning,
distance education is now transforming the entire academic sphere, particularly on the high school level. A peer-reviewed journal article tackling distance education is a formidable challenge, to be sure,
because it must include a great deal of information in a concise and organized manner. When critiquing such an article, it is recommended that the reviewer determine how well
the author articulated the problem and evaluated pros, cons, and alternatives, whether or not the article was structured so that it moved easily from one topic to the next and
