Having distanced himself further and further from his parents concerned and protective nature, Justin has become but an occasional presence in his familys home. II. BIO Justins health
history reflects that of a typical teenager: recurring acne, poor eating habits, questionable hygiene. Psychologically, he has bouts of fleeting depression, mood swings and drastic personality change while under
the influence of crack cocaine. Past addictions include marijuana at age thirteen just prior to becoming involved with crack cocaine. By acceptable social standards, Justin comes from an
upper middle class white family where he was given virtually every advantage while growing up: upscale home in an upscale neighborhood, private schooling, designer clothes, generous allowance, new car at
age sixteen despite current drug addiction (parents thought this might help snap him out of it). Well meaning but excessively driven, Justins parents
have pushed each of their children a direction they believe is the best direction for the individual (gymnastics for the youngest daughter, medicine for the oldest son), leaving little room
for each child to reflect upon his or her own desires. Justin routinely rebelled against their insistent pushing, choosing instead to do exactly the opposite of what they wanted.
His ability to hold a job has been a struggle at best, inasmuch as he routinely shows up late and misses shifts altogether. His unreliability and irresponsible manner
have cost him several jobs received on his fathers recommendation. Victim of the Middle Child Syndrome, Justin has chosen drugs as his self-identifier.
