of protecting and defending its citizens both in the country and abroad, there is no question that they are all structured extremely differently. And it is obvious that some militaries
are more abundant and much more powerful that others. Once given the authorization from a president, prime minister or congress, all militaries have the ability to use force. Militaries also
function like societies in which soldiers and officers are employed to perform certain jobs and tasks. In the modern world, world wars and countless other military conflicts have altered the
overall function of the militaries and as the threat of terrorism runs rampant across the globe, militaries have become a central focus point for governments and international relations. Throughout history,
every nation has had a different need for some form of military force. These needs help determine how these individual militaries operate during both war and peacetime. Naturally all countries,
depending on their geography, primary religion, history, and government, have different needs and must protect against different types of enemies. Therefore, it makes sense for them to structure their military
accordingly. England, for example, has historically always had a strong Navy, one of the strongest in the world in fact, because being an island most of their threats would come
