that can be used access the online learning environment. eLearing is an approach that remote access to coursing and allows potential students who would not be able to attend traditional
classes. eLearning provides the resources and support needed for specific courses, where the student can access the materials in their own time. This has been facilitated by the development of
the internet, as this provides the medium through which the lessons and support content may be provided. The internet will allow lessons to be recorded and streamed, text and image
based materials to be provided as well as allowing for communication to take place between students and their tutors as well as between the different students. With the ability to
access materials any time of day students can undertake either part or full time courses designed for online delivery as they are able to manage their learning time around other
commitments. The concept is not new; it has already been successfully utilized and demonstrated by the University of Phoenix (Bachorz and Cronin, 2005). The university offers lessons that are
delivered in a range of mediums, including the use of video presentations, podcasts, online text materials specifically designed for the courses, supported by an online learning environment, which includes the
creation of case studies for the applications of learning and forums to allow students to communicate with each other and with their tutors. The model has been used by a
