into the truck. As he screamed pleas for mercy he heard them gun the engine. And then they dragged him along behind the truck on an old gravel road until
he died. His crime? He was a black man. The case made national news and shocked even the most stoic among us. We shook our heads in anger about his
children who are now growing up without him and we rally around his widow for she has a huge responsibility before her. But in all of our outrage there is
a group that quietly continues to survive. As far as we have come and as outraged as most Americans get at racism and bigotry the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is
still in existence. The group, founded two hundred years ago continues to thrive and grow regardless of the distance we have made away from the days of slavery. How is
it that the group manages to remain active? What could they possibly be offering their members or using to recruit new members that makes it seem okay to advocate racism
? Surprisingly they group uses a tool that is in theory supposed to stamp out everything the group represents. Christianity. While most churches in America stand for neighborly love and
the belief that everyone is equal in Gods eyes the KKK uses the same bible to spout rhetoric and filth that supposedly justifies their existence. The KKK
