this subject could be executed. This example provides the fundamental basics of a religiously based game. The student can include their own drawings of characters, the game board,
etc. in this game and as a part of this project. The game being created is called "Monk-key". The historical
basis of this game resides in another game, called Nine Mens Morris, which is a game of strategy. Monk-key is a game of strategy as well, although it incorporates
a few more advantages than its predecessor. More specifically, Monk-key requires players to understand critical aspects of medieval culture as well, since this is a significant component of the
game. Monk-key is a game for two players, and begins with each player having ten "monks", or playing pieces
shaped like little people. The reason the game is called Monk-key is because the men are shaped like monks, and because the trivia cards are in the shapes of
keys - in other words implying that answering the trivia questions are the real "key" to winning the game. The game board is circular, and the goal is to
get all ten men around the board and back to their starting positions. Whoever first accomplishes this is the winner of the game.
The game board is round and is bright red in color. Along the outer edge of the circle, there are 30 circular indentations, upon which
the playing pieces will rest. There are three more inner circles, for a total of four circles, each with a descending number of circles for the playing pieces.
