1. Introduction The costs in medical healthcare facilities are seeing major increases as the demand rises and the process of the inputs increases.
Increases in areas such as oil production are having a long term impact on almost all areas of production. At the same time as rising costs there is also a
downward pressure on the prices that are to be paid by insurance and managed healthcare companies who also have a high degree of influence. Therefore any measures or products that
can be used to save money are well placed in the healthcare industry. This paper will look at the way a recycling project could be marketed and budgeted for within
a hospital. 2. Marketing Plan 2.1 Product The product to be marketed is a recycling service. In hospitals there are many tools that are used and then disposed
of, these may be single use products such as sharps and operating equipment, or multiple use products such as pressure cuffs. In recent years there have been many concerns regarding
the use of sterile equipment, and concerns of infection such as MRSA. The result for many has been to save costs and eliminate the risk of non compliance and simply
use new equipment each time. With mass production techniques it was possible to produce many new items that could be delivered to the hospital ready wrapped and eliminating the need
to consider sterilizations issues. Each time a new tool was needed it was unwrapped, used and then disposed of. However, this may be argued as wasteful, and since the move
