with the product advertisement. In addition, in todays world individualism is valued and this has also impacted the advertising world. ELEMENTS OF A MARKETING PLAN The success of any
marketing plan is dependent on the successful implementation of the product management and product marketing, setting an appropriate price for the product, efficient and effective promotion of the product, and
the proper placement or distribution of the product. These elements of a successful marking plan must incorporate the desires and wants of the consumers which have been identified as the
target market. It can be a very expensive and seldom successful proposition to try to convince a target market to buy something that they dont want. Therefore, market
research becomes an integral part of any marketing plan. Currently, many companies use a process called customer focus (Wikipedia contributors, 2006). In this process, the company works backward from
the customer. The focus is on what the customer want in the way of activities and products. Customer focus can be either customer driven or achieved through product innovation
