Some are generic and some are more effective with certain products or services. Writing for Adweek, Striefler (2010) suggested five marketing principles that brands should consider using in todays world. These are: * Create better realities because brands do not have the same power they once had. In fact, consumers do not see a lot of differentiation of brands. Brands need to generate conversations that lead to consumers talking about the brand (Striefler, 2010).
