opportunity. Sex crimes create horrible realities for the victims, and yet due to overcrowding of prisons and other factors, sex offenders are often released before serving their entire prison
term. When this happens, it isnt just the victim that suffers, but the whole of society. However, a society
such as ours is based on the foundation of justice and equality, which means that to suggest such a notion it must be able to be supported and must prove
that the best interests of the whole are met in addition to not infringing upon the personal rights of individuals. Often, this can be a very narrow tightrope to
