There are many companies we can consider, but if we look a the well known company Coca-Cola we see that they are taking a very advanced approach to employee performance management which has been introduced as a part of the total rewards human resource management programme of the company, To place this into the broad context of performance assessment we need to look at why and how this can take place and then apply this to Coca-Cola. In defining what is meant by performance assessment we can look at general definitions.
