a term defined as deviating from the norm and that which applies to the standards of psychological structures of affects, behaviors, cognitions and perceptions. Affects, or personal distress, is
a primary indicator of Biasas normality. She is wholly contented with her life, the choices she has made and where she sees herself in ten, twenty, thirty years.
She is not overcome with worry and fear about the unknown, nor is she concerned with her interpersonal relationships; even though she is currently single and living alone, she is
perfectly comfortable with her own company. Biasa realizes she has the control over some things and not others; those she does not manage are effectively blocked from infiltrating her
psyche and instigating anxiety. In essence, she is not guided by her emotions - rational or otherwise - but is instead ruled by the clarity and wisdom that comes
with acceptance. Biasa displays no maladaptive behaviors because nothing manifests itself as a negative reflection. She does not 1) engage in sabotage of self or others; 2) disrupt social
group processes; 3) manipulate; 4) or exhibit any psychological disorders. She comes from a stable, loving family where she cultivated positive perceptions about relationships and herself. She was
