The most fundamental difference between the reasoning and learning capacity of AI and the human mind is the lack of memory AI has to its discredit. While a computer can be programmed to be significantly more capable of reasoning and learning, the extent to which it can do so by experience and thereby apply this lesson of common sense to improve its memory level is something that has yet been developed. As Denison (2003) notes, "after spending years researching artificial intelligence, we still cant build machines that can think about ordinary things the way any 3-year-old can" (p. ITEM03146002).
