the state of the macro economy can and does affect the sale of Wilkerson smoker grills and the company that manufactures them, but the smokers are less susceptible to fluctuations
in the economy than are some other products. They can be purchased for as little as $200, which is not a huge budget item for most homeowners. It
is generally only the homeowner who can have and use a flame-producing smoker; reductions in the number of new home buyers could translate to a decline in sales of new
smokers. The smokers are constructed of steel that currently is sourced domestically. China now is the worlds leading steel producer, however, and
price fluctuations and international exchange rates could affect the companys pricing in the future if either quantity (steel prices or currency exchange rates) changes to a greatly significant degree. Recommendations
Activity in the housing market has slowed in response to greatly increased prices in most urban markets. Wilkerson can expect sales to
slow as well, but it has opportunity to market directly to those who would prefer to move but instead choose to upgrade their current homes as they wait for prices
