monkeys can bite when they become aggressive, causing all sorts of problems such as hepatitis, rabies and - well, monkey bites. Now,
monkeys arent hanging around these cities and areas for kicks; experts point out that the reason for the urbanized monkey population is because of the reduction of monkey habitats due
to deforestation. While the monkeys are a nuisance - and are dangerous - they wouldnt be around if it werent for "progress" and development and the fact that the monkeys
literally have nowhere else to go. The monkeys cant be killed; this would upset the majority of the Indian population, folks who believe that monkeys are almost divine. This leaves
trapping and re-release into the wild. Though its believed that most of the likely sanctuaries are full, this is no excuse. It was humans who robbed the monkeys of their
habitat to begin with, so its up to humans to put right what was made wrong in the first place. The
problem, however, is that humans dont always see it that way. When wildlife comes into a "human habitat" and destroys it, humans are, understandably upset. Wildlife can cause a lot
of damage to property, but the irony is when the humans become upset with the wildlife. Negative feelings against wildlife mean that people are less willing to support conservation solutions
