The following paper examines only three different aspects of human development. The issues, or questions, examined are as follows: a 2 1/2 year old child who refuses to sleep in their own room, the controversy concerning intelligence as a genetic or environmental issue, and a look at a possible program for pregnant teens. Josette According to the students assignment "Josette is a 2 1/2 years-old child who has been sleeping in her parents bed every night since shortly after she was born. It was easier for her mother to breast -feed in the bed while her father worked the night shift." However the fathers work schedule changed and with that change the parents desired that Jossette start sleeping in her own bed. They have not been successful with the change as "Josette cries and resists when they try, even when they simply approach the door to her bedroom." With that in mind this section discusses possible reasons for her reactions to sleeping alone and suggestions about what can be done.
