need to look at a company in an holistic manner is the LifeTec Group Ltd. This is a group of company that seek to pioneer biopharmaceutical products, with one of
the best known developments being the drug known as Wei Jia, a liver drug available by prescription only, developed by a subsidiary company; Weihai Sinogen Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd, in the
Republic of China. Therefore, this is a company that seeks what is traditionally called the first mover advantage (Porter, 1980, 1985). This also means the company is prepared to take
some level, of risk, rather than pursuing a conservative approach. This risky approach may be seen reflected in the level of volatility seen in the share price over the last
twelvemonths. The share price is currently HK $ 0.105 for the 20th June 2003, which was up 3.96% on the day before, when it closed at HK $0.102 however,
during the days trading there had been a high reach of HK $0.106. In general terms the trend has been downwards. This may be seen not only in terms of
the companys own performance but also as a result of the general economy and performance of the HKEx in which the company it traded and quoted. From this point forward
