or another. The following paper examines this examination of life and a search for some meaning as seen in The Secret of Staying in Love by John Powell, Mans Search
for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, The Road Less Traveled by Scott Peck and Think on These Things by J. Krishnamurti. Life and the Search for Meaning
In The Secret of Staying in Love by John Powell the title may suggest that the book is only focusing on being in love with
a partner but the author is really addressing many elements of love and ultimately the need to see the positive potential of ourselves and others. The author states how they
believe that all people are really supposed to live at peace with themselves, that it is an inherent part of human nature and that all people should ultimately be filled
with a sense of deep joy (Powell, 1995; 3). The author also points out that there is a sense of sadness in humanity because people seem unable to realize their
full potential in relationship to this peace and joy within themselves Powell, 1995; 3). In Mans Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl the
reader is presented with many different types of introspection and philosophizing as a direct result of the authors experiences in a concentration camp. But, through this experience the author has
