In its most common form robots are programmed to perform tasks in a specific pattern according to data that is retrieved through its various sensors. The instructions or programming are stored in what is referred to as the robots control center, its computer "brain" but not all robots with such "brains" have true artificial intelligence. The instructions are what allows the robot to successfully complete a multitude or just a singular assigned tasks and are, in at least some cases, a form of artificial intelligence. In an article titled "Levels and loops: the future of artificial intelligence and neuroscience" author Anthony J.
