the information in a many that results in changes in perceptions or behaviors. The concept of learning has been studied by behavioral psychologists like John Watson and B.F. Skinner,
who recognized that learning could occur through different types of stimuli and in different environments, resulting from exposure to variables. Learning can be defined as: "the process leading to
relatively permanent behavioral change or potential behavioral change" (Heffner, 2002). As stimuli is integrated into a body of knowledge, memories are formed and this can define changes in perception
and in response to environment. When a child accidentally puts his hand in a flame and burns it, the sensory information becomes a memory that may be recalled the
next time the child sees the flame. Learning, then, relates to the perception of the child that the flame is painful and that repeating the behavior will result in
the repeating of painful stimuli. The three most commonly recognized types of learning relate to types of stimuli: visual, auditory and
kinesthetic. Learning and adapting information as is viewed in the educational setting occurs through the introduction of motivators and the use of positive or negative reinforcement to support the
integration of information. Terry (2006) maintained that behavioral learning theories relate motivations for compliance in the educational setting to the consequences given for non-participation. Learning, then, can
be more complex than just a single behavioral response to a single form of stimuli; learning can result from the memorization of information and the subsequent social expectations and motivations
