of Piersons behaviors and traits, his role as a competent situational leader emerges. Introduction This paper will carry out the multifactorial analysis of learning team members in
order to determine their unique qualifications as leaders. The qualifications in question derive from a synthetic understanding of several predominant models of leadership: trait-based leadership, situational leadership, charismatic leadership, and
transformational leadership. Each of these models of leadership differ from one another on the basis of the specific focus of the leader and the attributes deemed most important to his
or her success. For instance, situational leaders place a higher importance upon task awareness and strategic analysis of a contextual situation, whereas transformational leaders assign higher importance to people and
emotional needs (Avolio & Yammarino, 2002). The use of power also weighs heavily on leadership quality; different types of leaders will utilize different forms of power in order to achieve
