time when other airlines are facing difficulties, and the need to maximize issues of resources for the forthcoming difficult conditions, the company still has difficult relationships with the employees. There
are a large number of industrial disputes over the years, and in recent years agreements have been reached prior to industrial action being taken, but the underlying clash between management
and employees has remained in place. It may be argued that the leadership style; an autocratic style, rather than the democratic leadership style, is to blame. Therefore, this paper recommends
that the company adopts a more inclusive approach and utilizes a democratic style of leadership, ensuring the values and culture of the company adapts to reflect this change in leadership
