Essay / Research Paper Abstract

A 7 page paper that discusses why metaphors are used so often to describe leadership. Scholars have failed in their attempts to agree on the definition of leadership. Some have offered definitions but most describe traits, behaviors, characteristics and skills. This is one of the reasons metaphors have been used so often to describe leaders and leaderships. The essay then offers an example of a historical figure and comments on the metaphors the writer would use to describe their own leadership style. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
