of supportive functions required in terms of the retail staff, transportation and the staff dealing with the imports. The reduction of international sanctions has meant that there are more consumer
goods available, which were unavailable for many years. This has also increased the potential demand as a result of availability of goods. This may also be seen as increasing demand
for labor to supply the goods inside the country as both the goods themselves are coming into the country finished, as well as many companies being able to import components
or more materials that were formally banned. Iraq has seen a rapid population growth over the last few decades, this increases the number of potential consumers. Therefore, even if consumption
per capita does not increase, this will result in an aggregate increase in demand, which would also increase the level of employment available in the need for workers. There is
