The following paper examines this issue and indicates that it is important to label such products in order to better inform the consumer, especially consumers who may have some important personal issues with the process of cloning and thus the purchasing of cloned meat. This also essentially applies to all cloned products such as milk and cheese as well. Labeling Cloned Meat Today there are many people who are clearly divided on the issue of cloning in the first place. Cloning is a very intricate reality and it is something that many people tout as wonderful, while just as many perhaps claim is simply unethical and dangerous. Many people may well argue that cloning animals is unnecessary and that doing so essentially takes the role of God on, creating animals which is not ultimately something humans have the right to do. However, the government and many agricultural industries feel it is incredibly beneficial for a variety of reasons, reasons that will not necessarily be covered herein. The point is that there are enough people who are against cloning in the first place and this indicates that the public has a right to now about the products they purchase as it involves possible cloning.
