software to satisfy the needs and demands of its student population. Many times, because of this, schools rely on different ways, such
as philanthropy or bond issues to get that extra computer or more space in the school library to set up a computer lab. But we suggest that some creative thinking
can help raise funds to get computers and other technological equipment into the schools. Such methods can include partnering with a large technology company in teaching kids, selling computer-generated artwork
online in an auction-based setting and trying to find graduates of the Rex, GA school system. The theory behind the last recommendation is that graduates have soft feelings for their
old schools and might be willing to donate money or time to help it make its goals. Paper When it comes
to school funding, much of that money comes from taxpayers (depending on the type of school). But many times, for the extras, like technology, some creative sources need to be
developed. The problem is, most districts must rely on grants, bond issues and philanthropy when it comes to supporting technology integration into schools (NCREL, 1997).
