suppliers are chosen. There are many criteria that are used by retail outlets in order to choose which suppliers to use. The products are a major part of this, but
for many products there are likely to be a number of suppliers, especially where the goods are homogenous. This may mean that the same goods may be supplied by
different wholesalers, which will allow a commercial buyer to shop around. This process allows a firm to get the best deal for themselves. There may be specific process in
place for the way that a supplier is chosen, with terms and conditions that need to be met and guarantees regarding prices, deliveries and quantity of orders, such as specific
credit periods, and delivery guarantees. In most cases there will be a desire to have one supplier provide a number of goods, this create more effective process (Thompson, 2007). Where
