point of view. Many worshiped Chance. They thought he was great, but I see him as a fraud. And perhaps many readers will agree with me, unlike the characters in
the novel Being There, the novel where Chance lives. The viewing public in the work is interesting. They embraced Chance not because of anything in particular. They thought he was
great, powerful, and wonderful but they had nothing to base it on. They really had no valid reason for buying into that premise. Rather, Chance was the quintessential American icon
and all that means is that people adored him for no particular reason other than everyone else does. I think that this book demonstrates that the public will jump
on any media bandwagon, including one where a rising star like Chauncey Gardiner is created. No one knew where he came from or even why he had been able to
claim notoriety so quickly. In an analysis of this character it seems that there is a relationship with his grooming of the garden, and how he cares for plants, and
other things which occur in the world. There is an odd parallel between the caring of the plants in the novel Being There and the world in which he lives.
I also notice a parallel between the real world painted in this work and real life. The plants are representative of the world, a miniature society where things flourish. When
things go wrong, the plants are in danger of dying as it is with the world. Clearly, Kosinski uses the plants to which Chance attends as a metaphor. And the
message is indeed poignant. Another important factor is that the protagonists rise to fame appears to be related with the phenomenon of television in general. Similar to the recent releases
