in order to make a viewable and enjoyable film there also need to be elements with which the audience can identify. For many films, such as Kindergarten Cop the 1990
comedy directed by Ivan Reitman starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. In this film there is the representation of reality with the way we see the learning environment portrayed and how this can
be related to physiological theories. Kindergarten Cop has a good setting for the exploration of learning theories, set in a kindergarten school where Arnold Schwarzenegger playing a rough cop
by the name of John Kimble has to take the role of a kindergarten teacher following the illness of his partner . Kimble is not a school teacher and has
no experience with children, therefore when we look at the learning environment we need to remember that it not only the children that are learning, Kimble is also expanding his
horizons depicted by the development of his personality between the beginning and the end of the film. The situation is one where Kimble and his partner have to identify
a child who is the son of a drug dealer. He has been spirited away by his mother following a divorce and the mother is the only person that could
be a witness against her ex husband. Both she and Kimble are aware of the danger, but Kimble only knows the child is in the class, he does not know
which child they are. When we look at the way in which Kimble deals with the first days he is on a steep learning curve that is a challenge.
