as well. It is a very intriguing book that could well interest many people who are not necessarily interested in the Civil War. The following paper offers a report on
the book. Killer Angels As mentioned, there are several different characters in this particular work. And in the different chapters or sections of the book the story involves
one or another of these characters. There generals such as Lee, Longstreet, and Armistead but also many other men as well such as Buford, Colonel Joshua L. Chamberlain, Fremantle and
others. Each section of the work is dedicated to the particular day the author is speaking of and within those sections the reader gets a very personal look at how
different men dealt with the war. These men are intriguing for they are not all common soldiers or officers. They are varied and thus truly offer the reader a
sense of diversity which helps one to understand the complexity of the military and men during times of war. For example, there is the private Buster Kilrain who is something
of a gruff man, but also one who stands by his officer, Colonel Chamberlain. Through his eyes and voice one comes to see the human nature of both simple men
and men in charge. Another officer, General Armistead is a man, a leader, but also a man who has lost his wife and still grieves for that loss. In essence
this story is about battles being planned and fought, but also a story about individuals, human beings, and how they manage to live through these times and struggle as human
