There are a number of issues that need to be considered when looking at the key challenges to building effective, these include the actual creating of the teams, with the
need to understand team dynamics and the roles of team members and how they interact. This may be argued as essential for the ongoing success of the team as well
as during the initial set up. The make up of the team, by considering the skills of the team members as well as the way they will work together and
find roles within a team can be a major challenge, people do not always behave as required, and a poor team profile can result in poorly behaving teams. Other
challenges can include the need for senior management to be fully committed to the use of organizational teams. Often there may be difficulty in getting the correct level of support
for resources and time for the team, with it being seen by management as complimenting existing structures and process rather than being a core process itself. Where teams are treated
in a curiosity manner they are more likely to fail. Therefore gaining further commitment can be a problem, the second key challenge we will look at is the need for
commitment in order to ensure that teams have the right resources, including time, to function properly. There are a range of challenges, the last one we will consider is
the way that successful teams are noted as having champions, those who are able to keep the team on track, prevent them from being side tracked and draw the team
