Edwards campaign raised $34,721,348 ("John Edwards: Campaign 2008," 2008). John Edwards ran a campaign for the presidency of the United States during the 2008 presidential election period. While he dropped
out prior to Super Tuesday he had not endorsed any other candidates who are going on to run for the presidential race on the Democratic Party ticket. Because he had
dropped out, recent independent polling information does not include data on this candidate. John Edwards attended the North Carolina State University and then went on to attain a law degree
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ("John Edwards for President," 2008). For each of these degrees, Edwards graduated with honors ("John Edwards for President," 2008). As an
attorney, he practiced law in representing families against big corporations ("John Edwards for President," 2008). Edwards decided to become politically active and ran for senate ("John Edwards for President,"
2008). As a senator, Edwards would represent the underdogs in a similar fashion as he had when he was in private legal practice ("John Edwards for President," 2008). In his
