JESUS SERMON ON THE MOUNT Jesus Sermon on the Mount relates directly to the Church and Christian life in that it speaks of life having specific meaning. No
matter the how saddening the cause, no matter how sorrowful the occasion, Jesus Sermon reflects the positive -- much the same way the Church and Christian life look upon the
good of each situation. Indeed, the main correlation among them is that one must learn to let go of mortal attachments; that holding onto entities of this world will
only delay ones salvation. The truth of Jesus Sermon on the Mount mirrored Christian beliefs by stating that one never really finds oneself until his heart and soul are
filled with benevolence (Bumbaugh PG). However, it is not always easy to let go of what is of this earth; worldly possessions are so hard to come by, some
people make them the focal point of their entire existence, often forgetting the real meaning of being alive. Jesus Sermon on the Mount stood to remind all that there
is far more to life than just that of worldly possessions -- it taught the value of life at its purist form. These same teachings were found in the
Bible, when John concurred with Jesus: "Do not love the world or the things in the world...For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the
lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but of the world" (The Bible Our Guide Part Two, PG). As though to emphasize
