surprisingly, came from two sources that havent always gotten along: science and Hollywood. The powers that be (hereafter TPTB) from both organizations came into possession-we wont ask how-of a piece
of the Shroud of Turin. Borrowing heavily from Jurassic Park, one of the ACLU types began to wonder if there was any holy DNA left in the shroud, and if
there was, could they clone Jesus from it? They called on the scientists at UC Berkeley, since it was a radical idea and they wanted someone who wasnt afraid of
radical thinking to make the attempt. The scientists, who had been wondering about just such a thing since they saw the movie-hasnt everyone seen the film?- said they would be
delighted to try. They also decided that if they were successful, they would try to bring him back as an adult, circumventing all that messy business with the swaddling clothes,
not to mention the stable and the animals (and their poop), the manger (splinters!), the three wise men, the star going nova and all the rest of it. Nope, Jesus
would be a man of the 21st century, an adult, and then they could see how he reacted to the world 2000 years after his first incarnation. The scientists went
away and did their thing with the shroud, and before you could say wingardium leviosa, they were back with a good-looking guy about 510" or so, early 30s, who drew
an immediate "Hes hot!" response from the female lab techs. Hotness aside, a few questions soon established that this was indeed the one and only Jesus Christ, JC for short;
